1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to Superwing Service Pty Ltd (ABN 99 701 382 498, ACN 701 382 498) of Doncaster East, Victoria 3109, Australia, referred to in this policy as "we", "us" or "our", and to this website at superwingservicetec.site.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in that Act. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we give it to and how you can access or correct it.

2. What personal information we collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to enquiries and to supply our services. That typically includes:

• your name and the organisation you represent;
• your business contact details, including email address and any postal or delivery address you give us;
• the content of your enquiry, including part numbers, quantities, deadlines and delivery instructions;
• records of correspondence between us, including quotes, purchase orders, delivery documentation and invoices;
• billing and payment information where you engage us for services.

We do not seek sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we ask that you do not send it to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you in almost all cases — when you email us, complete the enquiry form on our contact page, place an order, or correspond with us during a job. The enquiry form on this website opens your own email application; it does not transmit data to a server operated by us.

Where it is reasonable and practicable, we collect information about you only from you. Occasionally we may receive your details from a colleague within your organisation, from a supplier or carrier involved in a consignment, or from publicly available business sources.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, being to:

• respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes;
• source parts, place orders and coordinate freight on your behalf;
• prepare and hand over delivery, traceability and release documentation;
• invoice you and maintain our own financial and business records;
• meet obligations under Australian law, including record-keeping and taxation obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for direct marketing without your consent. If we ever send you material of that kind, it will include a simple way to opt out, and we will action any opt-out request promptly.

5. When we disclose it

We disclose personal information only where it is necessary for the purpose it was collected, or where the law requires it. Recipients may include:

• suppliers, distributors and repair or overhaul organisations, in order to source and quote a part;
• freight carriers, couriers and customs brokers, in order to move a consignment and prepare its documentation;
• our accountants, auditors, insurers and professional advisers;
• information technology and email service providers who host or support our systems;
• a government agency, regulator, court or law-enforcement body where disclosure is required or authorised by law.

6. Overseas recipients

Some suppliers, carriers and technology providers we deal with are located outside Australia, and personal information may be disclosed to them where a consignment or a system requires it. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to that information.

7. Cookies and this website

Our hosting provider records standard server and security logs, which may include IP addresses, request times and browser user-agent strings. These logs are used to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. Most browsers let you control or block cookies through their settings; because this site does not set any, blocking them will not affect how it works.

8. Security and storage

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Those steps include access-controlled accounts, reputable email and file storage providers, and limiting access to the people who need it to do the work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we suffer a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess and respond to it in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where required.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law — for example, financial and transaction records that must be retained for a minimum period under Australian taxation law. Documentation attached to a supply job is retained so that a movement can be reconstructed if it is later queried. When information is no longer needed and we are not required to retain it, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or to de-identify it.

10. Access and correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading;
• ask us to explain how we handle your personal information;
• deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym where it is lawful and practicable to do so — noting that we usually cannot quote or deliver a supply job without contact details.

Requests should be sent to [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. If we refuse access or correction we will tell you why in writing and explain how you can complain.

11. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first at [email protected] with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and respond in writing, normally within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which oversees the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Contact details and the complaint process are published on the OAIC website.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
